IDA

Intellectual Disability Australasia (IDA) was produced and distributed by the Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability.

IDA had been an important communication tool that shared news from all of ASID’s divisions. Published from August 2014 until December 2020 IDA had been produced as an e-magazine about the activities of the Society and the key public debates about intellectual disability and good practice.

Content for IDA took the form of reports and articles from members at large, the President, sub-committee chairs and division presidents about events that had taken place, new ideas, policy and education work undertaken by the association. The ASID Annual conference having been the highlight of the end of year edition.

The views expressed in the magazine were not necessarily those of the Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability.
