This first webinar in the new series "Better Communication" from ASID.

Come along and learn about making Twitter and Facebook work for you.

We’ll look at easy ways on how you can better use social media to make an impact with your work - from promoting your research, to sharing information and campaigning for change.

There will be practical tips and examples of what works, plus a focus on why being social media savvy is important when working in the disability and human rights field.

The webinar will be recorded and made available to all people who register including those unable to participate in the live event.

This webinar will be presented by Aine Healy

Aine spends her time working on making the world a more inclusive place. She’s the founder of IDEAS INFO ACTION where she only works on projects that excite, challenge and make a positive impact.

She previously headed up advocacy for the NSW Council for Intellectual Disability where she loved being led by people with intellectual disability; running national events, campaigning and honing her skills in developing Easy Read information.

As the former CEO of the Attitude Foundation she worked on changing how disability is represented in the media and ran the successful #AttitudeChallenge.
