2021 CONFERENCE - “Reconnecting” | Challenges for Human Rights in Times of Change
The ASID Board is acutely aware of the gap left by the cancellation of the 2020 conference and continuing uncertainty about travel, both within Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally.
The 2021 conference will be a fully online event, a new format for the ASID Conference. There will be two half day sessions, on Friday 12th November and Wednesday 17th November. Both days will start at 12pm AEDT and finish at 5pm AEDT. Each day will have keynotes and sessions delivered by researchers, service providers, policy and advocacy practitioners, self-advocates or family members. Sessions will be live streamed or pre-recorded. The format will also provide opportunities for networking and to hear about international, national and local research and other initiatives.
The theme for 2021 is: “Reconnecting” – Challenges for Human Rights in Times of Change.
