Click here for a copy of the communiqué ASID SA developed on the direction of disability services within the South Australia.

This communiqué resulted from a workshop run by ASID (SA) in October 2002, entitled '20:20 Vision', where two nationally recognised leaders in the field of intellectual disability , Professor John Taplin and Mr Peter Millier, examined the progress that had been made in the past twenty years and identified issues that will influence directions for the next twenty years.

A draft of the communiqué was circulated amongst the participants of the workshop, seeking their feedback and enabling them to have input into the final document. The result of this collaborative effort has since been forwarded to many decision makers and people of influence in the government, non-government academic and advocacy sectors.

ASID SA has  published a monograph by Professor Roy Brown. For further information check out the books page.
